Ironic Summer

Ironic Summer
By Rhincel John Ortega De Veas

Beneath the summer sky
Gray thunderclouds lie
The warm, toasty breeze
To my cold sorrows cannot ease

Hot sweat, perspiring
From a soul shivering
The earth blossoms with laugh
To a heart barren, rough

Amber leaves are falling
As distress are heaving
The sun, glorious and shining
To a love stark and freezing

Grim and Sinister

Grim and Sinister
By Rhincel John Ortega De Veas

Oh loathsome fate!
When strife, agony mate
Delight was quenched
That enticing core drenched

Oh furious plight!
Affliction at its height
Gentleness proved late
When love sprang hate

Oh venomous intoxication!
Delight in crimson fornication
For flesh hunted the jackass
Glorious of that stench of the carcass

Oh treacherous desire!
When being pleased was crime
In vain you lacked
That hateful bliss cracked

Oh fate, hear my creed!
Wretched by woe indeed!
