As We March

As We March
By Rhincel John Ortega De Veas

Golden times came passing
The laughter, the cheers were sounding
Life was a dream
And that dream was beyond realm

Yet summer becomes rain
Time, passing fast as a train
That fantasy bubble burst
As gleaming steel turns rust

Yet gold never tarnishes
As a happy memory never vanishes
The heart is the best journal
It keeps memories eternal

The future is a vast ocean
Full of storms, not always cerulean
We may not know what’s coming
Yet  faith nears to succeeding
